Past Life Regression

Past Life Regression
vs. Traditional Therapy:
10 Things Talk Therapy
Can't Access

Talk therapy is a valuable tool. But it operates within a specific set of boundaries — the conscious mind, this lifetime, the analytical frame. Some things live outside those boundaries. This is what past life regression can reach when traditional approaches have taken you as far as they can.

The Western Medical Model Has a Boundary

I've been the final stop for a lot of people. By the time many of my clients find me, they've already done the work — years of therapy, countless doctors, medications tried and discontinued, diagnoses that explained the label but not the origin. They understand their patterns intellectually. They've processed them verbally more times than they can count. And yet something remains.

I'm not here to dismiss traditional therapy. It's a legitimate and often essential part of the healing process. What I am here to say is that it operates within a specific framework — one that is bounded by the conscious mind, the analytical process, and the events of this lifetime. And for some people, the thing that needs to shift lives outside of those boundaries.

The Western model of medicine and mental health tends to gather symptoms, assign a label, and prescribe a course of action. It's analytical, intellectual, and grounded in what can be measured. For many conditions that is exactly what's needed. But I consistently hear from clients that so much remains unexplained — that despite doing everything right by conventional standards, something lingers that no amount of talking has touched.

Past life regression therapy works from a completely different set of assumptions. It acknowledges the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit. It assumes there is no illness, only imbalance — and that when everything is brought back into balance, including the soul, healing becomes possible in ways that can genuinely surprise you.

Before We Go Further: This Isn't a Shortcut

What this work requires of you

I want to be honest with you about something, because I think it matters more than any sales pitch: past life regression is not a silver bullet, and it will not work for everyone in every state of mind.

In a PLR session, we use hypnosis to bring you into a deeply relaxed, inwardly focused state — one that quiets the conscious mind and opens access to deeper layers of awareness. But hypnosis can only facilitate that state. It cannot manufacture it. If you arrive with significant doubt, fear of losing control, or a fundamentally closed frame, the session will reflect that. The conscious mind will stay in the driver's seat, and we won't reach the depth where this work happens.

This doesn't mean you need to believe in reincarnation to benefit. Some of my most profound sessions have been with people who came in skeptical. What it does mean is that you need to be willing to approach the experience with openness, trust in your own intuition, and genuine receptivity to whatever arises — even if it surprises you.

People who already have a meditation practice, or who are naturally inward and reflective, tend to drop into the work more easily. But more important than any existing practice is the simple willingness to be present and curious, without needing to control the outcome.

If you're reading this and feeling resistance — that's worth exploring in a free consultation before booking a session. The right preparation makes all the difference.

With that said — here are 10 dimensions of healing that past life regression can reach, and why traditional therapy, by its very nature, cannot.

The 10 Dimensions

1
The origin of patterns that have no explanation in this lifetime
Talk Therapy

Explores the history of a pattern within the context of your current life — childhood, relationships, significant events. When a clear origin can be found, this is genuinely useful. When it can't, the work tends to circle.

Past Life Regression

Can access the originating experience of a pattern even when it doesn't exist anywhere in this lifetime. When a client experiences an event from a previous life that maps directly onto a present-day struggle, the recognition is immediate — and often, so is the release.

From Practice

A business owner had always felt a powerful drive to hire and financially empower other women — far beyond what her own life experiences could explain. In session, she uncovered a past life marked by profound dependency and vulnerability. The vow she'd made in that lifetime had carried forward into this one as her mission.

2
Physical symptoms that medicine has labeled but not resolved
Talk Therapy

Addresses the psychological relationship to illness — stress, coping, acceptance — but doesn't work at the energetic or causal level of a physical condition. It can help you live with a symptom, but isn't designed to address the root of it.

Past Life Regression

Treats the body and the soul as inseparable. Unresolved experiences from past lives can manifest as physical imbalance in this one. When the energetic block is identified and released, physical symptoms sometimes shift in ways that defy conventional explanation.

From Practice

A client with psoriasis covering her shins went to a past life in ancient Egypt, where she was a palace guard whose shins were worn raw by armor worn in lifelong service to others. Her higher self delivered a clear message: the psoriasis wasn't a disease — it was a wound of neglect. It was time to take care of herself. Another client with breast cancer, after uncovering deep past-life guilt, envisioned healing and halted conventional treatments. Her tumor was gone three months later.

3
Direct connection with souls who have passed
Talk Therapy

Supports grief by helping process loss — building narrative, finding meaning, working through stages. It cannot provide actual connection with or communication from someone who has died.

Past Life Regression

Every session ends in what I call the spirit world — a deeply peaceful state between lives. In that space, clients regularly encounter loved ones who have passed, receiving messages and experiencing connection that transcends what any conversation in a therapist's office can offer.

From Practice

A woman who had lost her husband to cancer that year reconnected with him across multiple past lifetimes during her session — including a life in Holland where they raised five children together. In the spirit world, she received his message directly: that he was well, and always with her. That is not something talk therapy can give someone.

4
Clarity on life purpose at the soul level
Talk Therapy

Can help clarify values, explore identity, and reduce the anxiety that makes big decisions harder. What it typically doesn't do is answer the deeper question — why am I here? — at a level below the psychological.

Past Life Regression

Accessing the arc of a soul across multiple lifetimes often brings a quality of clarity about purpose that feels completely different from intellectual insight. Clients describe it as remembering something they already knew, rather than figuring something out.

From Practice

A client paralyzed by a career decision uncovered a past life that showed her exactly who she was — her willpower, her independence, her capacity to build something from nothing. She left her corporate job, moved to a new state, and launched a new career. The insight didn't come from analysis. It came from seeing herself whole.

5
The energetic history of your most significant relationships
Talk Therapy

Examines relationship patterns through attachment theory, family systems, and interpersonal history. It can explain how you relate, and often why — but only within the framework of this life.

Past Life Regression

Many of our deepest relationships carry a charge that can't be fully explained by current life history. PLR can reveal the multi-lifetime context of those connections — and in doing so, dissolve conflicts or deepen bonds in ways that conversation alone rarely achieves.

From Practice

A woman felt a persistent, unexplained resistance in a relationship she knew was right. In session, she discovered they had been together in the early 1800s — a connection that had been real and deep but impossible to fully claim in that lifetime. Understanding the unfinished story allowed them to step fully into this one.

6
Emotional weight with no conscious source
Talk Therapy

When emotional weight has a clear origin in this lifetime, talk therapy can be genuinely effective. When it doesn't — when someone carries grief, guilt, or heaviness they simply cannot trace to anything — the work tends to stall at the level of management.

Past Life Regression

Unexplained emotional weight often has a very clear origin — it just predates this lifetime. When that origin becomes visible in session, the release can be profound and immediate, because the subconscious finally has the context it's been missing.

From Practice

A man from a Christian background — skeptical of reincarnation but drawn to explore it — had always had an unexplained affinity toward the Vietnam War. In session he discovered he had been a gunner in that war, and had taken a life in battle. When he connected to that experience, he wept — releasing a weight he had carried for years without ever knowing why it was there.

7
The soul contracts shaping your current challenges
Talk Therapy

Operates within a psychological framework — there is no equivalent concept of pre-life agreements or chosen lessons. The patterns that show up in life are understood through conditioning, not through a larger spiritual arc.

Past Life Regression

Between-life exploration often reveals what I call soul contracts — the agreements made at a soul level to support growth, learning, and development. Understanding why a particular challenge was chosen (rather than why it happened to you) can be an entirely different experience of it.

From Practice

Some of my most humbling sessions have been with clients who have lived through profound trauma — and who, in a past life, took their own life as a result of it. When they move into the life between lives following that experience, what they encounter is not judgment. There is often a sense of disappointment, and a quiet knowing that they will need to return. But alongside that comes something they have rarely felt in this lifetime: reassurance. A deep, unspoken understanding that they are here to work through whatever guilt or shame has followed them — and that they are strong enough to do it. For the first time, they are able to see their own suffering through a lens of purpose rather than failure. The self-judgment that has defined them begins to lift. That shift — from I am broken to I am here for a reason — is not something any amount of talk therapy has been able to give them.

8
Access to your higher self's intelligence
Talk Therapy

Works with the thinking mind — surfacing, examining, reframing. The guidance available stays within the bandwidth of the analytical, verbal self. This can be genuinely illuminating. But it is limited to what the conscious mind already has access to.

Past Life Regression

Deep in session, clients regularly connect with what I can only describe as a knowing that lives beyond the analytical mind. The guidance that comes through is always clear, simple, and exact — the kind of wisdom you recognize immediately because it cuts through everything that thinking has been circling around.

From Practice

When a client connects with their higher self in session, I always know — because what comes through is never intellectual. It's precise enough to act on immediately, and simple enough that a child could understand it. I have been genuinely moved by what I've witnessed in those moments.

9
Resolution of relationship dynamics that span lifetimes
Talk Therapy

Can help you understand your role in relational patterns and change your responses. What it cannot do is address the possibility that some dynamics have an origin outside this lifetime's history entirely.

Past Life Regression

Soul groups — the clusters of souls we incarnate with repeatedly — can carry unfinished dynamics across lifetimes. PLR can surface those dynamics and provide the context that makes resolution genuinely possible, rather than just manageable.

From Practice

A woman who had never felt connected to her father moved into the life between lives during her session. What she received there was not an explanation for his behavior — it was a release from needing one. She was told that there was never meant to be much connection between them. That they are running parallel paths in this lifetime, and that the distance between them is actually designed to build her strength. She was also told something that stopped her completely: that he isn't abiding by his own soul agreements. That it's on him, not her. That he and others around him are stuck in their patterns — and that being away from them is how she honors herself in this lifetime. And then came the part that brought her to tears: confirmation that her mother and her brother are soul family, the ones she is genuinely meant to be close to. And that the people she is meant to connect with will simply flow in naturally, without effort or pursuit. She didn't leave that session with a repaired relationship. She left with something better — the end of a story she had been telling herself about what his distance meant about her.

10
Transformation that changes how you understand who you are
Talk Therapy

Can produce meaningful growth, new perspectives, and significant relief. Over time it can shift the way you see yourself. What it rarely produces is the kind of wholesale reorientation that makes someone say: I am not the same person I was before that session.

Past Life Regression

When someone experiences themselves across multiple lifetimes — sees the breadth of who they've been, the lessons they've carried, the love they've shared — something shifts at a fundamental level. Not because they've been told something new, but because they've experienced something that their conscious mind can no longer argue with.

From Practice

One client moved through three lives in a single session, and each one gave her something different. In the first she was an engineer — sharp, capable, respected — and it reminded her of an intellect she had stopped trusting. In the second she was a woman living on a Greek island, deeply connected to the sea, drawn to beauty and whimsy, fully alive. In the third she was an Egyptian man — a hard worker who lost his wife and newborn child in childbirth, and who ultimately took his own life, consumed by grief. That one she didn't receive as tragedy. She received it as a mirror and a message: that she has known grief before, profound grief, and that she doesn't have to be overtaken by it the way he was. She left that session with a completely different relationship to her own history — not as damage, but as range. She had been brilliant. She had been joyful. She had been broken and found a way back. All of it was hers.

Is This for You?

Past life regression is not for everyone, and I wouldn't want it to be. It requires a genuine openness to the unknown — a willingness to trust what arises in the session without needing to immediately analyze or explain it. The more you can approach the experience with curiosity rather than skepticism, and with receptivity rather than control, the more access you'll have to what's actually there.

If you've done the work by conventional standards and something still hasn't shifted — if you carry patterns, symptoms, or emotional weight that has no clear source in this lifetime — this may be exactly the avenue worth exploring.

A free consultation is the right place to start. We'll talk about where you are, what you've tried, and whether this is the right fit.

"If there's one thing my practice has taught me, it's that things are not always as they seem — and that the healing available to us is far vaster than the framework we've been given."

Some things can't be reached
by talking about them.

If you've processed a pattern through conversation more times than you can count and it still hasn't shifted — it may be time to go deeper. A free consultation is the place to find out if this is the right fit for you.
