Even with a busy schedule, our short, effective sessions are designed to fit into your day. All you need is 5-15 minutes to experience real results (and mama, you're worth carving out that time)​.

What if I can't be hypnotized?

Everyone can experience hypnosis! It's is a natural state of deep relaxation (and the more you practice, the easier it gets). You won't "go anywhere" and you'll be completely in control.

Does this really help with anxiety and depression?

While Calm Mama is not intended to replace individualized medical or psychological treatment, there is a growing body of research that highlights the benefits of both meditation and hypnosis for mental health. Neuroscience shows that regularly accessing the theta brainwave state—the same state you enter during hypnosis—can have significant positive effects on mental health, especially for those dealing with anxiety or stress disorders.

About Ellen, Calm Mama Founder

Seven years ago, despite appearing to have a balanced life, I was overwhelmed and stressed, struggling to find peace beneath the surface. Through meditation and hypnosis I healed deep wounds and reprogrammed my subconscious. 

These tools helped me overcome fears surrounding birth and motherhood, navigate birth trauma, and ultimately empowered me to leave my corporate job to follow my true calling: Helping other overwhelmed moms heal and reconnect with themselves.

I know firsthand that motherhood is beautiful, but it can also be overwhelming. That's why I created Calm Mama—a nurturing space designed to help moms heal from the inside out, regain their sense of self, and find true calm amidst the chaos. I understand what it feels like to carry the weight of anxiety, stress, and exhaustion.

With Calm Mama, I've taken the tools that transformed my own life and crafted a collection of guided meditations and practices that don't take much time but make a huge difference. Whether you're struggling with postpartum emotions, juggling life with toddlers, or simply feeling burned out, I'm here to support you in finding balance, healing, and joy again.

Can I cancel anytime and get a refund?

Due to the digital nature of this service, all Calm Mama payments are final sale and there are no refunds or cancellation options. Does this membership renew?

Your plan will be set to auto-renew and you will receive a reminder email one month before, where you can choose to cancel at that time.

 

Can I share my login?

All audios and content are meant to be viewed only by the purchaser and should not be shared with others. If you are an organization and would like to provide this to a group or class, please contact ellen@ellenhaines.com for group rates.

 

What is hypnosis and how does it work?

Hypnosis is a natural state of focused relaxation that we all enter into - like when you take a shower or drive a car and your mind naturally drifts. Hypnosis reprograms your subconscious mind, the place where you store old habits and are capable of forming healthier responses to stress. You stay fully in control the whole time—hypnosis is simply a tool to help you become relaxed to process deeper repressed emotions, shift your belief systems, and regulate your nervous system. It’s pretty incredible.

 

I’ve never meditated before, is Calm Mama still for me?

Absolutely! Calm Mama is designed for beginners and experienced meditators alike. Our sessions are easy to follow and tailored to fit into the busiest of schedules. You don’t need any prior experience to get started—just a willingness to give yourself the time and space to relax and heal.

 

Does Calm Mama help with postpartum depression or anxiety?

While Calm Mama is not a replacement for professional medical treatment, many moms have found that our audios help ease, significantly lessen, or resolve the symptoms of postpartum depression and anxiety. Please read our mental health disclaimer and/or reach out to us if you have any specific questions. You’re not alone!

 

Can I try Calm Mama before committing to it?

We suggest starting with the free meditation we provide on our email list. You can sign-up here to receive it and begin your journey. If you notice a shift and enjoy the journey, then you will definitely love your Calm Mama membership.
